Mantel Mania

 So excited to share a new find of mine today!  Old mantels are mind melting for me!  I just love the old chippy details and the history that is tucked into each curve and molding. I have been thinking of putting one in our bedroom, since we are going with the french country theme.  I'm excited to see the character it will add  to  our room.  Mantels can be a bit pricey, but as I was browsing in one of my favorite stores close to me,  I discovered this beauty! 

I was not a fan of the color, but its simple lines and curves along with the price made me smile!  A few coats of ASCP in pure white with some clear wax and sanding is all it took for her to shine!  What do you think of the finished product?
