So excited to share a new find of mine today! Old mantels are mind melting for me! I just love the old chippy details and the history that is tucked into each curve and molding. I have been thinking of putting one in our bedroom, since we are going with the french country theme. I'm excited to see the character it will add to our room. Mantels can be a bit pricey, but as I was browsing in one of my favorite stores close to me, I discovered this beauty!
I have been in search of a new bed frame for sometime now. I've considered new, old and everything handmade. Can I just say, there are some incredibly creative people out there who have made some awesome beds!
I Just love a good find at a garage sale. A few months back I found several signs that had generic sayings on them, not really my style, but I could see potential in the wood. I bought them for a couple of bucks and they have been sitting in the garage since then! ugh!
I'm coming to you today from a family point of view. You know, when someone who is related to you does something so incredible that you just have to share it with everyone you know! Please don't think of it as bragging, but I do believe in giving props where props are due, and this post is definitely overdue!!!!
One thing that has really caught my eye over the past several months in home decor is the perfect faux greenery. WOW! It can make all the difference for tabletop and shelf displays. The great thing is, it's yours forever! They are so life-like and if taken care of, will last for years! I've had greenery in the past, but I have to say, the new and improved faux greens are a huge improvement!!
Welcome! I'm Heidi Vagle.
